  1. Make ready 1 cup chopped mixed vegetables (french beans, carrot and green peas)

  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  6. Take 1 clove (laung/lavang)

  10. Take 1/2 tsp ginger (adrak) paste

Instructions to make Shahi Pulav:
  1. Heat the oil and ghee in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds, clove, cardamom, cinnamon and bayleaf and sauté on a medium flame for 30 seconds
  2. Add the onions, ginger paste, garlic paste and green chilli paste and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables, biryani masala, rice and salt and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  4. Add 2 cups of hot water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 whistles. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  5. The shahi pulav is ready to be served
